How to Resolve the "Invalid Access Token Provided" Error

What This Means

This error occurs when the login credentials or security parameters transmitted by the application are corrupted, unrecognized, or improperly formed during a server request. Based on system parameters, this issue usually stems from a corrupted local authentication cache, an interrupted handshake with the authentication server, or a revoked security token.

How to Fix It

Please perform the following recovery steps to generate a clean authentication payload:

Step 1: Perform a Complete Logout

  • Step out of your current screen and log out of the POS application completely to flush the temporary credentials stored in active memory.

Step 2: Re-authenticate on the Terminal

  • Relaunch the sign-in interface, re-enter your account credentials, and log back in to pull down a fresh, validated access token from the server.
