Unable to process refund

What This Means

 This error occurs because the refund process cannot be completed due to a failure with the Refund API. The system was unable to communicate or execute the refund request successfully through the application programming interface (API). 

How to Fix It

To address this error and attempt to complete the refund, follow these exact steps:

  1. Exit the error message: Navigate away from the failure notification screen.
  2. Go back: Return to the previous screen or transaction window where the refund was initiated.
  3. Re-attempt the process: Try to initiate and execute the refund request again.
