Adding Custom Modifier to an Item
What This Feature Does
The Custom Modifier feature allows staff to manually add a custom modifier to an item directly from the POS or mPOS during order creation.
This is useful when:
- A customer requests a special customization not already available in preset modifiers
- Additional charges need to be added for custom requests
- Staff need flexibility for one-off modifications
Examples include:
- Extra toppings
- Special cooking instructions
- Custom add-ons
- Additional charges for substitutions
Once enabled, users can create a modifier on the fly while adding items to a ticket.
